Hydro+

Hydro+ is a phosphate-free moisture retainer that prevents losses due to dehydration that occur in the production processes following capture, thus maintaining the organoleptic properties of the fresh product.

Since it increases the water retention capacity of the proteins, it produces a weight gain in the treated crustaceans. In this way, the best product is obtained in terms of quality and profitability.

HOW TO USE HYDRO+

BioMarine Laboratories recommend the use of Hydro+ for all types of crustaceans, as indicated below:

Prepare a 3% solution of Hydro+ in a sufficient volume of cold water (<5°C).

Introduce the previously washed crustaceans, making sure they are covered by the solution. Respect the 2:1 ratio (2 litres of solution: 1 kg of crustaceans). The immersion time needed is 3-5 hours.

*The use level of the mixture for the foods indicated on the label respects the maximum limits and, used under these conditions, complies with the provisions of Regulation 1333/2008.
